further to my suggestion about three generations on a spanish vacation -
airfare. roughly $1100 apiece in the fall of next year. end of august, september. at this point it’s not letting me look any later.
staying somewhere. 5-stars run 150 euros (average only) a night
pensions run 20-30 euros a night per person
the youth hostel is $18 for a 6-bed dorm.
what about food? dinner at a good cheap restaurant where the locals eat is 15-25 euros a person.
and getting into the prado? 6 euros.
we can do it.
for about $2000 each.
